Two-on-One Coaching & Consulting

By streamlining our process, we aim to minimize the time required of you and give you results as soon as possible.

This is why we are BOTH there on all your calls, leveraging collaborative tools along the way (we use Skype™ and Google Docs for our meetings). In this way, we can keep momentum while capturing all the important nuggets of gold that come through you. Ryan and Matt take turns as coach, consultant, and note-taker.

In the beginning, we find ourselves coaching more, given where clients are when they come to us. As we progress, the coaching paves the way for our consulting to actually land and make sense. By the end of our work together, we have our consulting hats on more often.

Our Unique Coaching Style

When we connect for coaching sessions, YOU are the focus of our conversation, not our methodology. We truly live for those moments where our clients utter heart-opening truths.

We may be talking about branding at times, but at the core of branding, we’re really talking about who you are in this world and your relationship to your coaching practice.

What makes us most unique is our ability to explore to the depth of who you are, including the depth of the challenges you face as a coach running your own practice.

Having cultivated a deep connection to our own unique selves, we’re more able to sense and call out what is special in you. We are here to support the parts of you that may not feel ready to reveal themselves to the world—uncovering your unique gifts and empowering your unique and authentic voice.

Principles

We believe in co-creation.

There are three principles we use to help you develop what we call “embodied clarity” (i.e. the intuitive knowing that guides the choices you make to support your mission).

 

1. Know Yourself. (“your heart’s deep gladness”)

Understand what you bring to your business — what is unique to you in terms of your visions, your gifts, and more.

Deep down, you are fully capable of tapping into the voice in you that resonates powerfully with others — all the answers and abilities are inside you already. The moment you reconnect to a deeper part of yourself, it’s like returning home and feeling an inner, “oh yeah.”

As coaches, we hold space for a deep dive into the core of your being, where the truth is like fruit on a low hanging branch. We’ll help you get there.

This deep inner discovery of your purpose, passions, and gifts will become an adventurous and regular practice. There’s some mystery involved simply because you are unique, and just like all of us, you will hide your greatness from yourself until it feels safe to be who you really are.

 

2. Know Your Community. (“the world’s deep hunger”)

Deeply understand what your potential clients are experiencing, what THEY are needing, and the language THEY use to express themselves.

You will learn how to create an authentic connection through sales and marketing. As consultants, we share entrepreneurial & marketing principles/practices from our own experience and the experience of others we trust. This includes guided support & tools for engaging with your audience and knowing them intimately.

It’s so crucial to know who we are communicating with. The temptation we must face is leading with “my work can help everybody!” True or not, this approach is much less effective and frankly more time-consuming and expensive when it comes to marketing.

Your power is in your focus, reaching a subset of the overall population, both in the way they think and feel (psychographics) and how they can be found in the world (demographics).

 

3. Be of Service. (“the intersection between your heart’s deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger”)

You know who you are, your reason to serve, and who needs your help. As a result, you can easily extend offers that resonate and take your ideal clients from where they are to where they want to go.

To serve from a place of joy, authenticity, and gratification. That’s what it’s all about. When you have connected to yourself and your community, this part is easy — it occurs as a result of the above. You show up with your natural gift, wrapped in the package of your business vehicle, and offer what is needed.

Over time, the organic dance ensues — your community tells you they need or want something and you go about getting their needs met. Developing new offers, new products, joint ventures, partnerships and the associated pricing flows easily from this place of service.
